Paul works primarily as a consultant with a number of educational organizations, including Avid 4 Adventure, the Cottonwood Institute, the Tandana Foundation, Where There Be Dragons, and the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). In addition, Paul instructs all levels of first responder courses with the Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI).
Born in South Africa, Paul moved to the United States as a small child. He hold an M.A. in School Counseling, University of Northern Colorado and a B.A. in Business Administration, University of Michigan. He, his wife and their cat live in Lyons, Colorado.
