For Teams

It takes ongoing work to activate and strengthen the muscles of real collaboration.

Teams with talented, committed people can become stuck, stagnant and siloed. Without sustained effort to build awareness, learn new skills, and embed new habits, old patterns tend to reassert themselves as daily pressures return.

We work with your team over time, getting to know your people, patterns, and priorities.

Over time trust and collaboration shifts from being something the team talks about to something it consistently lives — especially when it matters most.

Three Collaboration “Accupressure Points”

We focus on three “pressure points” that guide our work with your team – not through one-time conversations or exercise, but by establishing a sustained cycle of awareness raising, skill-building and deep conversation.  Our facilitators focus on three “pressure points” as the most direct pathways for bringing new levels of energy, cohesiveness, and results to your team.

Unity of PURPOSE

A team is not a team unless its members have a shared understanding of why it exists and a strong commitment to pursuing that end. A clear purpose fosters unity, shared commitment, and accountability. Purpose is like a lens that focuses attention, energy, and practices.

Healthy CONNECTION

Team members need to feel a level of trust that enables them to speak honestly, admit mistakes, take risks, and learn together. Trust is built one interaction at a time. So, when the lines of connection between team members are strong, deeper collaboration and creativity are possible.

Robust PRACTICES

Robust practices are the shared ways a team turns intention into action—how decisions are made, commitments are set, and progress is tracked. Best-in-class practices create clarity, mutual accountability, and the ability to move efficiently without sacrificing inclusion or rigor.

Our Approach

Our work with your team is customized, usually beginning with a discovery and feedback phase that involves a half-day of immersive learning.  From there we recommend a sustained approach to developing your team. The program we custom design for your team will be guided by these six principles.

Safety, without playing it safe.

We create the conditions where people can speak honestly, surface disagreement, and take interpersonal risks without fear. This is not about comfort. It exists so the hard, necessary conversations can happen in service of better outcomes.

Fun is part of doing serious work.

A healthy human system includes moments of levity, warmth, and shared laughter. Joy builds trust, releases tension, and expands creative capacity, allowing teams to engage difficult work with more resilience and openness.

Make the invisible visible.

Unspoken assumptions, power dynamics, and competing commitments shape outcomes whether acknowledged or not. We surface what’s hidden, so teams gain a clear-eyed view of their strengths and patterns that hold them back.  What we can see, we can work with consciously.

Clarity beats harmony.

We value clear agreements, clean decisions, and clear commitments over vague declarations and generalized consensus. Any short-term discomfort that comes from an honest blame-free conversation is preferable to long-term avoidance and confusion.

Practice over perfection.

We favor experimentation, feedback, and iteration over getting it right the first time. Learning in motion beats waiting for certainty. Progress comes from thinking creatively, acting thoughtfully, reflecting honestly, and adjusting quickly.

Wax on. Wax off.

New capabilities are built through repetition, not insight alone. We embed learning by practicing new skills and routines over time, until better ways of working become “just the way we do things on this team.”
